Jenni Douglas is a printmaker and surface pattern designer from Edinburgh's Old Town. Jenni runs a shop, online shop, studio and workshop space in the city's beautiful Marchmont area, close to the Meadows, where she designs, makes and sells her work. She also stocks a small selection of quality, locally made produce including coffee by Williams & Johnson, delicious artisan chocolate by Coco Chocolatier and Ailey Maes, and a range of locally sourced house plants and flowers. Jenni also teaches printmaking classes, which will be starting up soon in the new shop space.
Jenni uses a range of printmaking techniques including linocutting and screen printing to create contemporary designs which blend Scandinavian, Scottish and Mid Century style. Her products include prints, cards, textiles and homewares and the range is always growing!
"I adore colour and pattern and how simple lines and shapes can come together to uplift and refresh the senses. I particularly love European graphic and textile design from the 1950s and '60s and colours from this period often find their way into my designs. I'm pretty sure I have an addiction to mustard yellow.."
