If you're a reader of the Edinburgh Evening News, you might've spotted the lovely feature about yours truly last week. I was really touched when they asked me to tell the story of how my business started and the journey from then to now. I used to think that I didn't have much of a story worth telling, but over the past few years I've realised that a) this is completely untrue; everyone has a story! and b) that sharing my experience might encourage others to believe in themselves and take that step towards fulfilling a goal or ambition. How good would that be? Definitely worth the shift in perspective and the few moments of self consciousness while talking to a reporter about it!
The photo below was taken while I was sitting at a very wet and windy stall at the West End Fair, where I was exhibiting during the Festival this month. It was a lovely distraction from my cold toes! Thank you again to Julie Douglas for writing such a lovely piece.
