FAQ

If you have a question which isn't covered below, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

How long will my order take to make?

Prints, placemats, coasters and mugs are made to order and typically take around 5 working days to produce, although during busy periods the turnaround time can be up to 10 days.  If you would like your order more quickly, please do get in touch and I'll do what I can to help.

How will my order be sent?

You can choose for your order to be posted by 1st Class or 2nd Class Royal Mail.  Proof of postage is always obtained.  If you would prefer to use a tracked service, please get in touch before placing your order.

A4 prints, A5 prints and cards are posted flat in a sturdy, hard-backed envelope. A3 and A2 prints are rolled and packaged in a postal tube.  If you order a combination of A4 and larger prints, these will be sent rolled in the same tube to minimise the postage cost.

What is your returns policy?

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, or you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please get in touch as quickly as possible. Damaged items will be replaced or refunded in full including any return shipping costs.

In accordance with distance selling regulations, items can be returned undamaged for any reason within 14 days of delivery and a complete refund (excluding shipping) will be given.

The address for returns is: Jenni Douglas Designs, 100 Marchmont Crescent, Edinburgh, EH9 1HD.

What is a Giclée print?

Giclée is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment rather than dye inks with high quality archival standard paper to achieve prints of superior quality, light fastness and stability which will last for generations.   Our Giclée prints are produced on 100% Cotton fine art paper using printers with 9+ colour pigment inks, producing an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut.
