Fabric Base Information
All fabrics are printed in the UK using eco-friendly, water based pigment inks. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your fabric to arrive (it will normally be less than this).

CLASSIC PLAIN COTTON (156 gsm)
A versatile, plain weave fabric.
Made from 100% cotton, a breathable fabric, ideal for craft and clothing projects. The base colour is natural white and will be printed using eco-friendly, water based pigment inks.
Use for:
Blankets, blouses, clothing, curtains, dresses, lampshades, quilting, shirts, skirts, soft furnishings, bunting, tablecloths, handkerchiefs, crafts, beeswax wraps, face masks.

COTTON LAWN (75 gsm)
Lightweight fine plain weave cotton fabric.
A lightweight, plain weave fabric popular for a wide range of fashion products including dresses, skirts and summer tops.
The fabric features a fine plain weave with a high thread count giving it a characteristic silky and untextured feel. As a 100% cotton fabric, it is breathable making it particuarly suitable for clothing.
Use for:
Dressmaking, blouses, skirts, shirts, dresses, net curtains, bridal, lingerie.

DRILL (255 gsm)
Cotton drill has a diagonal weave, similar to twill, but the fibres are woven tighter giving it sturdier feel. This makes it suitable for a wide range of uses such as homeware, soft furnishings and apparel. It is particularly popular for kitchenware such as aprons.
The base colour is optic white and heavily processed to provide an excellent print surface. The weight and weave of the fabric means that colour reproduction is incredibly strong.
Use for:
Aprons, bags, clothing, cushions, curtains, dresses, jackets, kitchenware, shirts, soft furnishings, tea towels, tablecloths, banners.

LUXURY LINEN (255 gsm)
A luxurious medium heavyweight cotton linen blend.
A cotton linen blend with a luxurious look and feel, making it suitable for premium, high-end products. A slub of linen gives the fabric real character and provides surface interest. The base colour is natural white.
Use for:
Cushions, curtains, lampshades, soft furnishings, tea towels, tablecloths.

CANVAS (380 gsm)
A heavyweight fabric, suitable for a wide range of projects. Its versatility means it can be used for soft furnishings, upholstery and accessories.
The fabric has canvas weave commonly referred to as a duck canvas. As a heavyweight woven fabric, it is tough, durable and easy to work with.
Use for:
Bags, banners, art canvases.
