New Class Term 2018

I'm pleased to share that my new term of printmaking classes will start on Thursday 22nd February!  The first 5 week term will be an Introduction to Linocut Printing, which will include a complete overview of everything you need to know to start printing onto paper and fabric using this extremely versatile and satisfying printmaking medium.  The course is ideal for beginners and improvers.   Classes will be taking place in the lovely Skye Room at the Marchmont St. Giles Church in Marchmont, Edinburgh, and will run each Thursday from 6.45pm - 8.45pm.   Cost: £125 per term (5 weeks), which includes all materials and equipment.  One free place...

Many thanks to the lovely Alison at The Scottish Parliament for this photo showing the brand new official Parliament corporate Christmas card, which I was asked to design. The Robin design is a kind of jigsaw puzzle of lots of architectural details from the Parliament building, which, rather coincidentally, I’ve been drawing and photographing since it was built.  It was created as a linocut with ink detailing.
